Competition Terms and Conditions of Entry
Please read the terms and conditions
1. Trail Testers competitions are open to all readers .
2. No employee, contributor, or representative of the Publishers, or its subsidiaries, may take part as these competitions are for readers only.
3. Entries may only be submitted using the
on-line form provided.
4. The reader, from hereon referred to as the Entrant, waives all rights to copyright and any other claims of title, by submitting his, or her entry for publication, as comprised of text, video and any images.
5. The Publishers reserve the right to use the winning entry as they deem appropriate and to reproduce it within any Buffalo Media Publications.
6. Entries that contain images deemed inappropriate to the publication, will be edited, cropped, or rejected.
7. Entries that contain text that is deemed defamatory, racist, or otherwise objectionable will be edited by the publishers, or rejected.
8. Entrants must ensure that they own the copyright to any photo, image, video, film, music, text, article, or have permission of the copyright owner to use, or submit any such material for publication and must attest to such by noting a declaration on the form to be submitted for the said competition. In the event that the Publishers are made aware of a breach of Copyright, they reserve the right to withdraw, or reject any such entry.
9. Prizes are those that are advertised with each competition.
10. In the event that a prize supplied by a manufacturer, or other supplier, for a competition is for some reason unavailable, the Publishers reserve the right to substitute an alternative prize to the winning Entrant.
11. Prizes are set for each competition and as such the winning Entrant, may only request an alternative prize, if an alternative is offered by the Publishers at the time that the competition is set. Otherwise no alternative to the prize offered may be requested.
12. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
13. In order to enter the competition the Entrant must supply his, or her name and address, including post code and a valid e mail address.
14. These details are required in the event that the Entrant wins the prize and will be used to send the prize to the winning Entrant.
15. The winning Entrant will be requested to send a photo of themselves for publication with their winning entry.
16. Personal details of each Entrant will not be disclosed by the Publishers to a third party without the express permission of the Entrant.
17. Prizes are awarded to entries deemed as being of such a quality, or type as to qualify for the winning prize.
18. In the event that an entry is submitted by the Entrant and for any reason is not received by the Publishers within the time frame set for the competition, due to any interruption of service by the email provider, server, or communication, or is corrupted, or destroyed by any virus, or other computer, or other electronic means, the Publishers cannot and will not be held responsible.
18. The Publishers decision is final.
