Marmot , born out of the need of American climbers Eric Reynolds and
Dave Huntley to have better more affordable gear, celebrates its 34th anniversary this year. Back in ‘74 they had just 7 dealers and that had grown to 11 in 1977. Today, the company has grown somewhat with 650 dealers in the US and offices in the UK, California, Colorado, Canada, Hong Kong, Sweden and Germany. Today the product range includes outdoors clothing, backpacks, tents and sleeping bags.
