Mountain professionals choose Odin baselayers

At the heart of Helly Hansen’s 3-Layer System is its Lifa base layer. Its stripes are seen worldwide, and are instantly recognisable for their quality and function.  Following the success of the Odin base layer with mountain professionals last season, this winter sees the return of Helly Hansen’s Odin High Neck and Pants for professionals working in extreme temperatures on high alpine and arctic expeditions.

Key features of the Odin base layers include:  An extreme hybrid, made from 50% LIFA  stay dry technology and 50% superfine merino wool.

LIFA quickly  moves moisture away from the skin to the fabric, to protect the body and keep the wearer dry and comfortable. Plus it’s soft, lightweight, durable and naturally anti-bacterial.

Helly Hansen use five different LIFA fabrics and 10 fibre structures incorporated into the design, work in sync with different parts of the body, to deal with varying heat and moisture management needs.

The Odin base layers feature flat lock stitching for extra comfort and durability. High neck has extra long cut with drop tail to protect the midriff during ascents.

Odin base layer high neck available in black, sizes S-XXL SRP £70 matching pants in black, sizes S-XXL, SRP £55.
