Scarpa Manta GSB Review

The Scarpa Manta GSB four season walking bootsare crampon compatible using the GSB crampon system. In our test we used them for hiking, backpacking and, scrambling and found them very good. They took a bit of breaking in and the insoles had to be replaced with Superfeet, but otherwise and excellent mountain boot.

I've used Mantas for 20yrs & now on 2nd & 3rd pair. Lived in first ones through uni, every single day & on hills all year round. I like a stiff boot even in summer for long walks carrying kit & my feet never had a blister in these. First pair have long passed away. I still have the second pair (the leather version 15years old!) for summer & a winter pair (Blue Nubuck? not current. 6yrs? old). the tread outlasted life of boot. Don’t see me needing new pair in next 15yrs. Stuff price just buy them!
